Hi Good People, I’m back! It’s so great to be in the loop here again. My sleep patterns are still a little whacked but nothing that a few dips in the cold pacific won’t cure.

The tour was fantastic in every way. Wonderful music with Dianne and the band and the opportunity to visit all of those beautiful cities and to meet good people everywhere. I'm happy to report that the world is good shape and that music is helping to keep it in balance.

We were in Sarajevo at the American Embassy on election night. How’s that for a weird juxsiposition?

The tour kept going on and on and by the end we were all ready to return home. The circular cycle of hotel, airplane, van to the venue, soundcheck, dinner, concert, back to hotel to pack and a little sleep—repeat all of this over and over again—started to wear thin. The bus episode was a cool alternate reality and one of the highpoints was the drive early one morning through the Alps right after a snowstorm. Unbelievable Disneyland views!

Playing a concert in Madrid, Spain. Left to right: Peter Martin, Dianne Reeves, and Peter Sprague
Getting ready to go on stage for the last show of the tour in Chiasso, Switzerland. Top row left to right: Gregory Hutchinson, Peter Martin and Peter Sprague. Lower left to right: Darryl Hall and Dianne Reeves.

For this week we’re corralling the gang and playing a show at the Escondido Library. It’s a free concert for the public and I’ve played the space before and it’s a good room for music. I hope to see you there.

That’s it! Look below for the updated details of where we’ll be in the upcoming months. I hope to see you out there.

best, Peter
