Friends, we hung out with the taxman yesterday. Talk about the way life inches along, tallying up the details that speed you along towards early death. No worries, we survived it and got the pen out for the big check…

Last week the insanity of Geoffrey Keezer and his gang tracked some tunes at SpragueLand. This fellow is one of the best and he brought along some complete politicians of the disguised beat. They were hanging with Peruvian grooves and to locate the downbeat was a fete in itself. Brilliant and magical and I was stoked to be in the loop. Keezer is amassing tunes for his next release and it’s going to be an amazing disc when it surfaces…

Peter, Hugo Alcazar, Jon Wikan, Geoffrey Keezer, Essiet Essiet

For this week it’ll be Lisa H., Gunnar and myself stirring up some new tunes at the Inn L’Auberge in Del Mar. We haven’t been there for a while and it’ll be good to stretch out into the lushness. Hope to see you there…

best, Peter
