Truth number one, Steve Kujala is one of the most phenomenal musicians to walk this round planet. I first heard about him when he was performing with Chick Corea's band and in those years he recorded on Chick's Touchstone, Joberg Sessions, and Voyage albums. He is an amazing improviser and his tones and effects on flute are like no other. When we play live, Steve is ultra spontaneous and utilizes large doses of humor. He's a unique one! This CD caught us when we were on fire with original tunes and lots of spirit. Truth two, this recording cooks!
