| We took the band into the Oceanside KOCT televsion studios and played a few tunes. I'm on guitar along with Leonard Patton and Lisa Hightower on vocals, Gunnar Biggs on bass, and Duncan Moore on drums. "Blues Connotation" is an Ornette Coleman melody of which I've fashioned a lyric telling the story "free jazz and playing the blues the way you want". It features Leonard on lead vocals and solos by Lisa, Peter, Gunnar, and Duncan. |
