Greetings to you all! We’re trying to stay warm over here. Our heater guy is coming over today to remedy the machine in the basement that sounds more like a drum solo than a soothing purr delivering warmth. Can’t wait to have it right ‘cuz it’s hard to play fast when you fingers are frozen.
We had a fantastic Tango concert with Nina last week with a great turnout and loads of enthusiasm. Love the vibe at the Tango! And the Del Mar Christmas show really came off with all of the musos and singers bringing it to the streets of Babylon. We were all very thankful for the great weather and the array of good people with overflowing goodwill. It was magic day!

This was the setup for the concert in Del Mar and that's Gunnar digging on what my neice Lara Fleck is rustling up. We had folks sitting behind the band, in front of the band, all the way up to the street.

And moving into this week, I’m stoked to have a few solo gigs lined up. Tonight I’m at the L’Auberge in Del Mar, tomorrow night I’m playing at the Boathouse in Coronado and on Thursday I’ll be at the Roxy in Encinitas. Look below for the times and the details.
And last up, I’m super happy to be returning to Ki’s in Cardiff to play a New Year’s concert along with Kevyn Lettau on vocals and Gunnar Biggs on bass. We’ve played many memorable gigs at Ki’s and even before it was Ki’s it was called the Bella Via and there too, some insane music nights went down. The food is fantastic and it’s located overlooking the ocean and this should be a wonderful way to let go of the old and welcome in the new. Hope to see you there.
