Hi Friends, the semi big news this week is that our CD “Mill Creek Road” is dancing at #12 on the national jazz charts for radio airplay. We’ve got this dude in Florida that “works” the CD and he stays in touch with radio stations around the country. He sent me the print out for this week’s tally and as much as I can make sense of this cryptic spreadsheet it’s looking like the world at large is embracing these 8 songs. Stoke! He also inspired a pretty big radio station in Newark to gift our CD to select listeners and this came out to be a pretty sweet order for us over here at SpragueLand. Launching east, packing the boxes, paying the postage and hoping for the best. It’s working!

On for this week I’m looking forward to Thursday at the Roxy playing solo. Always fun, always a great collection of good friends and always the best salad with tahini dressing going!

Next up I’ll play the soulful quaint Paper Moon in Point Loma on Sunday evening. This will be my 3rd show there and I love the place. I’ll play solo and these last few evenings I’ve been working out the arrangements for the concert. There will be a bunch of new songs for the wonderful folks of Point Loma. Hope you can make it.

And just peeking around the corner into next week I’ll be bringing my string group to The Merc in Temecula next Thursday and then I’ll be at Ki’s in Cardiff over the next weekend.

That's the story good people and keep the sky in your head!

best, Peter

The setup at Paper Moon. This photo is from a show I did last summer and what I learned is that the red floor makes the music sound better!
