Friends, today is starting out with Michael Brecker’s “Wide Angles” filling the air and it’s amazing music. He’s added in strings and other woodwinds to set the landscape for his wicked lines to ride on top. Inspiring!

It’s been a good week we just went through and I played a lot of cool gigs. My apologies to those that wanted to hear us at the Encinitas Street Fair. Our set was called off on account of too much water falling out of the sky. I was bummed but the earth sure was digging the moisture.

I think the ocean was digging the moisture too. Here's Stef making momentary sky art at Beacon's.

For this week I’m heading down to Del Mar tonight for a solo guitar hit at the L’Auberge. My regular Thursday night at The Roxy isn’t happening this time ‘cuz it’s Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving by the way—share the warmth of being a human on earth spinning happily out of control.

I will be at the Roxy on Saturday night with vocalist Kevyn Lettau for a celebration of jazz and samba. And the week rounds out with a cool connection with Leonard Patton at Dizzy’s on Sunday night. Can’t wait and I hope to see you in person.

The last note, coming up next week is a special house concert in Encinitas with Australian vocalist Kate Fuller and myself. Look below for details and how to score tickets. House concerts are cool ‘cuz it’s all about music and food mixed in with super nice people.

That’s it and thanks for following along, Peter
