On Thursday Kevyn Lettau and I meet up in L.A. to play a show at a new venue for us called the Coffee Gallery Backstage. Judging from their website it looks like the music is the main deal and once again we get the opportunity to trance out to that beautiful improvisational place. Space is the place, thanks to SUN RA!

Vocalist Jennifer Lee hails from the Bay Area and comes down to San Diego every now and then to see her family and lucky for me, play a few shows and record some music. She’s just completed her 2^nd CD with me and it’s a wonderful collection of Brazilian songs, standard jazz tunes, and few of her original compositions. The recording is called “Quiet Joy” and it’s just being released now. On Saturday eve Jenn and I will play a house concert in Cardiff and this is the same place we did the Kevyn Lettau show a couple of weeks back. Our hosts John and Kim are great folks and their house is a really sweet setup for live shows. I hope you can make it and look below for details and ticket information.
