Dear Friends, its early, its foggy and its a good start of the week. For the last couple of days we had Lisa Hightower singing at SpragueLand and Im happy to report that in the next couple of months shell have a great new recording emerging into the real world. For her project we had a creative posse of musos mixed with some of my arrangements and topped off with Lisa singing up a storm. Ill let you know when it surfaces.

Tonight were leaning into the Marley music at Dizzys. We rehearsed it and Im stoked, it sounded great!

Later in the week Im connecting with Bob and Amber to play music in the acoustically gifted space of Founders Hall; the Hillcrest First Unitarian Universalist Church with the Quartet; and finally a solo gig at Fresh in La Jolla.

A busy week with guitar in hand. I hope to see you out there.

7:30 to 10:00 PM   For this show we're set to play the music from my most recent recording "Taking It All In". It's a blend of samba, straight ahead jazz, and a couple of jazz funk tunes that I wrote while thinking about Eddie Harris. This should be a good one!
