Friends, I just got back from an absolute glorious cold morning surf sesh complete with a few dolphins, no sharks happily and a system reset that’s leaning into this upcoming weekend. If it’s magic!

The KSDS show last week was a hoot and a half and the band played beautifully.  Thanks to all of you for making it out and / or tuning in via the airwaves. Here are a few images from the concert.

For this week we’ve got some cool shows coming up. Tonight it’s all about tahini dressing, strawberry smoothies and listening to some stories that the solo guitar wants to share. Lets gather at the Roxy and sample a good moment in North County bohemia. See ya there.

On Saturday eve my good friend Deborah Johnson is pulling into town and together we’re playing a show at the Lutheran Church in San Diego. Deborah sings her own tunes in the folk style and has a beautiful sound and vibe. Looking forward to seeing her again.

If It’s Magic! Stevie Wonder’s music is cool blend of pop with jazz influence and on Sunday we’ve got a stellar band to explore some of his classics. Our angle is to take his tunes and bring them into our jazz realm. Leonard and Rebecca are on vocals, bro’ Tripp on sax, keyboard avatar Geoffrey Keezer is with us along with Gunnar on bass, Dave Anderson on drums and myself on guitar. The concert is in the afternoon and the setup is first rate. I hope you can make it out.

One last thing, the upcoming house concert with Kevyn Lettau and I is selling really well. There are some seats left but I think it may sell out. If you’re thinking it’d be cool, may I suggest checking the details below for the online tickets.

That’s it and thanks for tuning in.

adios, Peter
