Hi All, the surf is up, the thermometer is running rabid, and we’re coming into a busy gig week. Juggle mode — ON…

Tomorrow we’re igniting the Brasila group for a show in Balboa Park. It’s an all-star band using classic tunes from Brazil as its foil for improvisation. Check out the Tania video to get a sample of what we’re up too. This should be a great concert…

Next up, me and my gang of Merry Pranksters are heading to the Summer of Love show for a time warp traveling back to the Haight circa 1967. Steppenwolf here we come! Check here for more details…
Pianist Bill Cantos is coming to town and I’m in the loop with him along with Duncan, Bob Magnusson, and Tommy Aros. We’re playing at Anthology and judging from the last show we did together, the magic is sure to kick in. Cantos has it going on!
For Saturday evening it’ll be Leonard, Gunnar, and I spreading the good word of jazz at the picture perfect Inn L’Auberge in Del Mar. Widen out your limbs in the living room setup and let the sounds ease on in…

To close the week we’re putting on the war paint, lighting the sage, and setting up the gear at the one and only Coyote Bar and Grill in Carlsbad. Tripp is off playing the Love In show so we’ve employed vocalist Leonard Patton to help orchestrate the Harley Davidson chaos and direct the alcohol fortified line dancing. It’s all good over at the Coyote…

That’s it and either I’ll see you out in the waves or at some gig...

hang ten, Peter
