Friends, I hope it's all going well.

Last night I went to the Athenaeum in La Jolla to hear a trio led by Colombian harpist Edmar Castaneda. It was amazing and beautiful and so unique in it’s color and angle. You take three musos fully accomplished on their instruments and add in their enthusiasm for the full ride and you’ve got a great night of music.

I think today (Thursday) they’re giving a workshop at the Athenaeum and if you’re not busy you should check them out. I wish I could make it but Leonard and Geoffrey Keezer are coming to the studio today to record a new duo project Leonard’s been cooking up. That’ll be great too! Leonardismo!

Tonight is a Roxy Solo Guitar night and it’s a guaranteed good mix of the classic north county hang element with great food plus passer-byers that fall in for a little softshoe and finally—some tunes by me. Hope to see you there.
