Hello, my fingers are flying on the keyboard today ‘cuz I’m trying to fit it all in. For this week I’ll be joining in on saxophonist Bill Shreeve’s CD release gig at Anthology. I recently played on his recording called “Feel This” and he’s got a stellar band lined up to help tell the story. It’ll be fun and look below for the details.
We’re bringing the Peter Sprague String Consort together on Wednesday to play the wonderful jazz concert series that Holly Hofmann organizes at the James S. Copley Auditorium in Balboa Park. Can’t wait for this one and we’ve been rehearsing and even added a new tune of mine into the mix. You’ve got to hear cellist Carter Dewberry play the first 2 sections of ‘Mudra” to know that you’re really living. Beautiful!
