Hi Friends, I’m reporting back after the stellar morphed world of the Beatles concert last weekend! Thanks to all of you that made it out and we had a great time. Leonard’s “Oh Darlin’”, Tripp’s harmonica on “Hey Jude”, Keyvn travelling to India on “Within You”, Gunnar low ending it on the bow, Barnaby channeling Chick Corea on “Little Help”,  Duncan doing it all with deep grooves and me, heck I was enjoying the entire ride from the guitar seat. What a gig and the great news is it’s going to happen again next month at the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad. More details to come and we’re stoked to get another chance to pull off the coda on “I’ve Just Seen a Face”. Who arranged this stuff anyways?

Photos from the Beatles gig. Top to bottom: Duncan and Leonard, Tripp on harmonica, Kevyn, Gunnar using his hand to tell the story, Barnaby, Pedro, the band as seen from the audience, and the band after the gig.
all photos except for the last photo by Barbara Rix. The last cool fish-eye photo was taken by Rick Sokol.

On other fronts, our Mill Creek Road CD hangs in at #7 on the national jazz radio charts. I haven’t seen millions of dollars rolling in but I'm just stoked to have the air waves of America laced with a little Keezer and Sprague propaganda. Also, we’ve corralled a few more really postive reviews on the record and if you go here you can tune into what the noise is all about.

Still not sure how to navigate through these charts but the best news is that Mill Creek Road continues to hang in there near the top!

For this week I’m playing solo tonight at The Roxy. Can’t wait to do the sonic drift! Tomorrow night I’m playing at Ki’s in Cardiff with Tripp and Fred Benedetti and ending out the week I’ll again be at Ki’s on Saturday night with vocalist Kevyn Lettau. It all sounds fun and it’d be great to have you along for the ride.

that’s it, Peter
