Hi All, running wild right now and just wanted to get the word out about the solo guitar explorations tonight at the Roxy. I'll be there playing from 7PM onwards. Hope you can make it.
Tomorrow night I'll be in the loop with Bob Magnusson's group playing a show at SOKA University. Music from Liquid Lines! SOKA is a fantastic place to hear music and it's closer than you think for us SD folks. Check below for the details.
And then on Sunday, Tripp, Bob Magnusson and I head out to Cabo for a week of music, ocean, warmth and sun. Stoke factor six! See ya there I hope...hah!

The gigs last week we're off the hook. The PS String Consort had our coolest run to date culminating in a fantastic gig at Vitello's in LA. What a band!
And then Sunday night we had a surreal hit at Tango del Rey with vocalist Emily Elbert. Ladies and gents, this girl blew my mind! What a voice and vibe. It was amazing! Check out a few of the comments we got from folks that we’re there:
We were in attendance last night at Tango Del Rey - a magical evening to say the least! In a few words we want to encourage you to think SERIOUSLY about taking what you put together to another level. We would have paid Las Vegas prime show prices for last night's experience and still come away feeling we got a bargain! I am lamenting (my assumption) that a copy of last night's performance won't be available for purchase. Thank you for bringing Emily to San Diego. We're thrilled we saw the article in Night & Day (SD Union/Tribune) and made the effort to be there. We have added our names to your email list and truly hope to see a reprise in the near future. I'm not a musician - just an audience "schmuck" - but I'm telling you - you captured a (multi) million dollar moment.
Judy in SD.
Peter, great gig last evening.. the music was magic! Never been to a concert which included pieces by the Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, Jobim, and well - Emily. She has a flagrant disregard for genre - which works for well for her. This truly brings it back to the old adage:
There's only two types of music: bad (poorly played) music, and (well played) good music.
Rick from Carlsbad
George Varga wrote a great piece about Emily and the concert. And here is the first YouTube video to surface.
She'll be back in the summer and we're planning some more music moments for then. Can't wait...
That's it. This one's a shorty 'cuz I've got someone coming into the studio in a sec, from there a rehearsal, and then from there, the Roxy gig. It's a good full life!
adios, Peter
PS. check out the last minute concert I'm playing with Bridget Dolkas and her group fresh off the plane from Mexico on March 7. I'll still have sand in my hair. Wait, I always have sand in my hair!
