Hello Good People, today is the first day that I’ve worn a sweater in months. There’s some sort of weird south wind that’s got a chill factor working with it. Is the summer over?

Last week was cooking with the PB Library solo concert and the Stevie Show at Canyon Crest. Thanks to all of you that made it out. Playing solo is a unique experience and drifting around without nuts and bolts is my idea of a good time. And then getting the whole posse together to slide through some Stevie tunes makes perfect sense as a second act to the continuing story.

For this week, I’m playing solo (sans nuts and bolts) at the Roxy on Thursday. It’s one of my favorite musical times of the week. Hope you can make it out.

On Saturday eve, maestro Fred Benedetti and I will play a special duo concert in Encinitas. We’ve been playing in this format on and off over the last couple of years and I love where the music travels when we’re together.

On Sunday afternoon we’re continuing the saga of playing trio at the county libraries and for this week we’re appearing at the El Cajon Library. It’s Tripp, Gunnar and myself in the band stirring it up with the hardbacks. Hope to see you there.
