Christmas in Springtime?
Well it's spring and I finally completed a little page on my website that includes a bunch of photos from the annual Del Mar Christmas Eve Concert. It takes me a while 'cuz I'm juggling the forever improvement of the jazz guitar. I like the guitar the best but doing HTML is pretty rocking too! 3 dimensional graphics with built in frustrating non-moving elements abiding to the archaic rules of Internet Explorer. Not the best but pretty fluid stuff nonetheless.
For this weeks music it'll be Tripp and I holding down the fort at the San Diego Airport. Weird but true, it's a pretty cool gig. The best part is the joy of the arriving travelers, coming home and the underscore to their movie is — us. You gotta roll with where music takes you these days—"a gig on a oil rig in the middle of the pacific, when does the helicopter leave?"
On Monday I'm riding my solo guitar into La Jolla's Fresh for an evening of soft stuff. Hope to see you out there.
