Hi Music People, floating on some old Sergio sides at the moment. "Horizonte Aberto", a classic collection of Brazilian music from way back in Sergio Mendes' earlier times. It's a good thing while writing about music to simultaneously be listening to music. In one ear, out the fingers with some bossa nova influence infused into the script. Hopefully...

Last week we pulled a great stint at the Inn with Leonard singing and Bob on bass. We had a fair share of magic brewing and a good audience turnout and reaction. Thanks to all for braving the "serious Cali weather" and taking in the show. Big fun!

For this week Leonard and I are again collaborating with the added low end voodoo of Gunnar Biggs on bass. It'll be at Ki's and I know some of my out of town relatives are making the show. Come and meet them and take in some classic North County culture and supremely gifted food.

These vintage recordings detail the inspired beginnings of our Del Mar jazz legacy. Here is the flow on how to pull off the special order:
