Hi Friends! I’m checking in kind of last minute. It’s been a busy week plus the ocean is still being generous with it’s prolonged warmth. Every last second, filling it up with the good things!

Looking back, last week we had a stellar show immersed in the songs of Stevie. It was on fire, both the tunes and the day. It was as hot as they come here in SoCal! Loading in the gear, living the sauna effect in 3D! Hotter than July!

Right now I’m listening to the beautiful recording by vocalist Denise Donatelli called “Soul Shadows.” This is her latest album and it’s really something. Geoffrey Keezer is the producer and his vision and arrangements play an enormous role in bringing this music to life. Check out this promo vid to hear for yourself. In a couple of weeks we’re gearing up to play this music live in L.A. at Vitello’s. It'll be a hoot and I'll get you the details next week.

Up for this weekend I’ll be playing both Friday and Saturday nights at Ki’s Restaurant in Cardiff. On Friday it’ll be me along with Tripp and guest vocalist Nina Francis. For Saturday I’ll be connecting with Kevyn Lettau on vocals and percussion. Big fun making music on the edge of the continent. Hope to see you there….
