Hi Friends, Bob and I had a really fun gig in Temecula last Thursday and as we were driving we noticed how extra thick the traffic was. How come? We made it just in time and it wasn’t until half way through the performance that we heard about the power outage. Wild thing was, Temecula had electricity! Great gig and a surreal drive home through a dark and starry night.
And check this, earlier in the day we did a hit out at Palomar College. Last year when we played the college they called off the performance because of a bomb scare. This year, we leave in our wake a huge power outage. Ladies and gentleman, please welcome to the stage, Peter Sprague and the Mini Disaster Boys. Request your tune and we’ll throw in a catastrophe for good measure!
Onwards, here’s what’s up for this week.
I’ll be playing solo at the Roxy on Thursday night and vocalist Kevyn Lettau will join me on Saturday night (also at the Roxy) for some Brazil jazz explorations. Hope you can make it out.
