Good Friends, for this week I’ve sacrificed my precious guitar playing nails for a full on rip the carpet out session complete with a 10 year old rusty stapled pad refusing to budge. Me and uber handy man “Super Dave” dug in for a home improvement jam session and sent the old carpet running. From there a talented ensemble of wood floor-ians took on the fete of restoring the beauty of this 70 year old abandoned orchestra of wood planks. They unleashed their machines for a couple of days and TAH DAH, it’s looking good and we’re on the homestretch.

Looking west with the first coat drying

Musically this week it’s a Friday gig at Dizzy’s with the Paul Seaforth group including maestro Magnusson on bass and Duncan Moore on drums. It should be fun.

Saturday I’m gigging with vocalist Kevyn Lettau but it’s a private hit and so unfortunately you’re not invited. I am going to talk with her and try to arrange a public show down here for her next loop passing through…

That’s it and I hope to see you out there. Wood floors are like walking on a BIG guitar.
best,
Peter
