Yes Friends, I’m just back from playing a wind tunnel concert in L.A. with the String Consort. Complete with blowing flapping flags, mega traffic gridlock, outdoors and searching for warmth, really, the whole making music in a battlefield experience. We survived and have some scars to show for it and we’re still stoked to be making music. Onwards and upwards!

Me trying to get the twin neck in tune with the tampoura. Close to impossible...
Bob Magnusson shredding on the tampoura on our tune "Mahavishnu"...

This week I’ll be flowing into the UCSD Jazz Camp and sharing some trade secrets and some tunes. It’ll be a hoot and I always make a bunch of new friends there.

Thursday is solo guitar at the Roxy. I’m taking next week off so catch it while you can.

Speaking of catching it, please see if you can make it out on Friday to our full band immersion into the Metheny World. We’re playing all tunes PAT at the cool listening venue in PB called Tango del Rey. We’ve got a great group and I hope you can join in on the vibe. Look below for details and tickets...

Pat Metheny and his Picasso guitar.

See you then, Peter
