Hola Good People, we had a wonderful whirlwind of library gigs over the weekend and thanks to all that made it out. What a great setting for music! I’m thrilled that there are more library concerts coming up and it turns out that hanging around books brings out folks that are willing to sit and focus, zen paperback if you will...
For this week vocalist Kevyn Lettau and I are set to play a duo show at Dizzy’s on Friday night. We've just finished recording an album and now we’re working on the cover part of the project. I think the CD will make it’s way into the world in September. For the Dizzy’s show we’ll highlight the songs from the record and this includes some of our originals, a few jazz classics plus a reworking of John Mayer’s “Belief” and Jobim’s “Water’s of March”. It should be a magical night and I hope you can make it out.

Also this week San Francisco vocalist Jennifer Lee and I will play a concert at the Encinitas Library on Sunday afternoon. The show will be a fundraising event for the Tierra Miguel Farm. These folks round up some incredible organic produce and we’re thrilled to be helping them out. Jennifer sings and plays the guitar and she too has a CD that’s almost complete that was recorded here at SpragueLand. Beautiful! She chooses some great tunes and writes some of her own material as well. This will be a fun afternoon of music and I hope to see you there.
