Friends, we’re zeroing in on the last days of 2011. It’s been a great ride with music, friendship, surfing and a zillion orange juice smoothies. I’m thinking next year will have all of this plus the big change of our kid off to college. Just when you think you have the dance figured out a new variation appears.
Flow, the wind, the breath, leaves fall, sunrise, the guitar cable shorts out, flat tire, new car, health insurance bill goes up, good bill of health, traffic jam, midnight drive from LA with empty freeway, the yin of it all, the yang factor, flow, the breath…
We had a great Christmas Eve concert and I recorded and video taped the whole event. I’ll get this up on my site soon along with some cool still photos. For now check out these images.

Peter and the hat! Turns out the sun was on full volume and I end up getting enough sun anyway with surfing. Plus the hat shaped the sound waves to make everything sound better! Hah!

For this week I’m playing solo guitar tomorrow night (Thursday) at the Roxy in Encinitas. It’ll be fun and I hope to see you there.
